We all are learning to grapple with the effects of self-isolation during COVID-19, including major disruptions to our daily routines. While this is can be a challenge for couples, it can also be a time for significant others to come together and learn how to support one another.
Our team at Fortis have compiled a list of ways to strengthen your relationship during this time:
Make a Schedule
Sit down with your partner and share your schedules: When do you have class? When do they have conference calls? Having an open dialogue with your mate will allow you to make efficient use of your time and compromise on priorities before they become stressful.
For example, if you prefer studying in the morning, have your partner oversee breakfast with the kids. Switch in the afternoon. There are to create a schedule that is easy to use.
Work together to divide household responsibilities equally. From doing the dishes and vacuuming the rug, to laundry and grocery runs there is plenty to share. Choose specific days to perform certain chores to help you tackle housework in small, easy-to-accomplish tasks.
Share the Wi-Fi
As many couples have come to find out, their Wi-Fi connection is increasingly
strained while supporting multiple computers, cell phones, tablets and more. Ease the strain on your connection to the outside world by creating a chart. If
your partner is working from 3分快3, try studying during “off” hours, such as early in the morning or in the evening after the kids go to bed.
Work in Separate Rooms
If you can, try to designate a room or a space that is for work only. When you are in the room, you are studying or working. This will also allow both of you to have a quiet space to take phone calls, attend meetings, or take an exam.
As you continue to work towards your degree, Fortis is here to help you. If you have questions, please contact your Program Director via cell phone or email for more information.
